Auto-Renewal / Negative Option

Automatic-renewal laws require that a subscription checkout clearly disclose the auto-renewal terms, obtain the consumer's affirmative consent to those terms specifically, send an acknowledgment with cancellation instructions, and provide an easy same-medium cancellation path (online click-to-cancel for online sign-ups). The California Automatic Renewal Law is the binding standard for most national subscription flows.
